Boston/Harvard-born improv troupe that trained Jane Curtin and Josh Mostel — the East Coast sister of The Committee.
Known for
- Started with a small Harvard-affiliated group, founded and directed by Jerome Leven.
- Rehearsed and performed at Inman Square, Cambridge — the same square where ImprovBoston later set up.
- Allan Albert took over direction around 1969, running movement/biomechanics/games therapy rehearsals.
- Transferred to New York's Gramercy Arts Theatre in 1971.
- Trained Jane Curtin (later SNL, Kate & Allie) and Josh Mostel.
- Spawned Next Move Theatre Company after dissolution.
