- Founded January 2006 by Steve Roe and Edgar Fernando (school friends since age 4).
- Originally a Balham (SW London) workshop; moved shows to The Miller in London Bridge in 2010 — the UK's first dedicated improv theatre.
- Teaches thousands of improv students yearly; runs shows five nights a week featuring UK and international troupes.
- Launched a Hoopla Improv Festival in London in 2019.
